In this latest WUN podcast, WUN Advocate Aimee Konieczny chats with Matilda Gent, about her experience as a Mechanical Apprentice with National Gas.

Matilda Gent, is a 17-year-old Mechanical Apprentice at National Gas based at Bacton Gas Terminal, Norfolk. She is currently working towards her Level 3 Multi-Skilled Technician qualification, gaining hands-on experience while developing my engineering skills. She is passionate about STEM and dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue careers they are passionate about.

Matilda has delivered presentations to employers about the value of apprenticeships and shared her experiences through interviews with Insight Energy Magazine, the Eastern Daily Press, and appearances on BBC and ITV News. Through her journey, she hopes to encourage others to explore opportunities and build fulfilling careers in STEM.
