Alt HAN Co.

As part of the Government’s policy for all energy customers in Great Britain to have access to smart metering it asked the energy industry to find a solution to a problem that could affect hundreds of thousands of British homes where the components of their “home area network” – energy meters, in-home devices and communications hub – are too far apart to connect with each other.

Alt HAN Co’s mission is to develop range-extending products and services that integrate seamlessly into the smart meter rollout plans of energy suppliers. Our services are for all energy suppliers and for all customers that need them.
Since 2016 through Alt HAN Co, the UK’s energy suppliers have been working collaboratively towards this goal.
