Last week, Nicole McNab – Strategic Communications and Partnership Delivery Lead in the Clean Rivers and Seas Task Force – presented at CIWEM’s Annual Urban Drainage Group Conference in Birmingham. The three-day conference brings the water industry together to share latest findings, projects, and ideas on tackling surface water.

Nicole shared case studies from the Task Force’s Pathfinder projects as well as Southern Water’s plans to implement green and hybrid solutions into communities to reduce storm overflows, rather than only investing in grey infrastructure. The presentation and subsequent panel session were so well received, Nicole won the ‘Best Paper’ award!
