Bios:
Heidi Knapton, Head of Universal Metering for South Staffs and Cambridge Water
Heidi is responsible for ensuring all homes have a water meter and launching the smart programme alongside this. Held various roles across customer operations and experience, using this to add social value to the programme, providing extra care to customers when they need it.
Geordie Wilson, Head of Smart Metering at Affinity Water
Geordie Wilson is Head of Smart Metering at Affinity Water, where she leads the company’s transition to advanced metering and the development of data-driven capabilities. She has worked for 14 years at the company and her career has been built around metering, she has delivered major programmes in smart metering, metering and demand management. Before her current role, Geordie led the demand management team, using metering data to help customers reduce consumption and support behaviour change. She’s passionate about making metering data meaningful and turning technical insights into practical actions that benefit customers and help create a smarter, more sustainable future.
Lauren (Loz) Tyler, Global Head of Product at Echo
Loz’s breadth of experience spans CPG, Digital Services, Luxury, and the UK water sector, but what remains consistent is Loz’s expertise and true passion for human-centred innovation. Whether building new brands, services or digital products, she believes human experience and connection should be front and centre. A creative and strategic leader, Loz recently joined Echo to spearhead the global product agenda.
Kerry Maisey, Head of Smart Metering at SSE
With 25 year’s experience in the Energy Industry, the last 15 years in Smart Metering, Kerry has managed programmes and operations in large and small suppliers for domestic and non-domestic customers. Kerry also sits on the board for Smart Energy GB as a non-executive director representing non-domestic customers/suppliers.
