Information

Continuing the success of our #SpeakUp campaign, including our WUNForAll sessions on speaking up in the workplace and the roles allies play supporting others in the workplace, we’re back with another supportive discussion this time titled ‘Empowered women, empowered workplaces‘.

Women in the workplace still face moments of being spoken over, dismissed, or left without clear ways to raise concerns. This session will empower women with the confidence and tools to respond with strength. Join us for an informative virtual lunchtime session where we’ll delve into the strategies for standing up for yourself, advocating for others, and protecting your wellbeing, alongside guidance on raising issues formally or informally. You’ll leave with practical techniques, resources and the confidence to use your voice for yourself and those around you.

In the session you will:

  • Gain practical tools to confidently stand up for yourself and advocate for others in the workplace.
  • Learn ways to protect your wellbeing and manage the impact of challenging experiences.
  • Understand the pathways and resources available for raising issues and accessing support.
