We are thrilled to announce the launch of ‘WUN Thrive’ our bespoke senior leadership programme. This in person development opportunity has been created recognising the unique challenges women face in senior leadership roles. It’s designed to help elevate women in and entering senior leadership roles and provide a unique network of support.

The next cohort for this programme will run across the following dates:

Session 2 – Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th May 2025 (venue TBC)

Why This Programme is Essential:

The utilities industry has long been male-dominated and this lack of diversity not only limits opportunities for talented women but also deprives organisations of the unique perspectives and skills that women bring to the table. We want to bridge this gap by providing tailored training to address the specific needs and challenges women face in the utilities sector, and to support them to support others around them.

Programme Overview

Are you ready to accelerate your career and lead with confidence? Thrive is a purpose built leadership development programme, crafted by women in utilities, for women in utilities, who are in, or seeking, senior leadership roles.

Like all our programmes, Thrive is based on our own experiences in utilities and built on feedback that senior women gave us.

Over six impactful modules, our team of experts will guide you through:

Module 1: Self-Discovery

Get started by exploring your strengths, development areas and personal values, with time to think about your leadership style and impact.

Module 2: Unleashing Your Potential

Go further by focusing on your personal brand and how this can support your leadership journey. Consider the specific challenges faced by women in the workplace, and work on strategies to build resilience for yourself and your teams.

Module 3: Inclusive Leadership

Be your authentic self and build psychological safety to create more diverse, high-performing teams. Understand the importance of language and inclusivity as a leader.

Module 4: Coaching as a Leadership Skill

Enhance your skills and learn techniques which will help you to support and develop others while advancing your own career.

Module 5: Speaking Up & Elevating Your Narrative

Understand how to overcome limiting beliefs and imposter syndrome. Work on your influencing skills and explore how to enhance your visibility and impact.

Module 6: Creating Your Impact

Revisit your leadership style, your purpose and your legacy. Conclude by creating a personal plan to navigate your career, organisational politics and expand your network.
