Reactive Technologies are at the forefront of enabling the global decarbonisation of power grids. We provide unique critical real-time grid data that enables higher adoption of renewable resources whilst ensuring the power grid stable and reliable and keeping the lights on for consumers.

Reactive’s pioneering technology, patented in 34 countries is in commercial operation in the UK power grid, providing grid stability data to help NESO meet its Carbon Free operation target by 2030. Our technology is estimated to save approximately 18 million tonnes of CO2 annually in the UK alone – equivalent to 5.5% of the UK’s total annual emissions. By reducing reliance on fossil fuels, our technology enables faster and safer integration of renewable energy into the power grid, supporting the UK’s transition to Net Zero.

Recognized by COP28 as a Global Clean Energy Transition Changemaker, Reactive is now partnering with power grids worldwide to deploy this ground-breaking technology.  Established in 2010 and employs over 75 people, with offices in Great Britain, Finland, USA, UAE and Australia.
