Career
I joined the Energy sector following university as a temp and 20 years later I have had multiple Executive roles in all of the elements of the Energy system. Most recently being a member of the founding project team of E.ON Next, a huge transformation that was deemed the most successful migration in the energy industry.
Currently I am responsible for E.ON Nexts Affordability and Vulnerability team, supporting our customers through the cost of living crisis.
Why I Became a Mentor
I believe that women need to be present at all levels of organisations for those organisations to perform to their potential. I also believe that collective problem solving only makes the solution better. Therefore the prospect of learning and supporting a women in the utility sector excites me a lot, particularly outside of the company I am working in.
Women at all levels need that voice inside that champions and sponsors them to take a risk or push a new idea forward. I have had this multiple times in my career, its been so beneficial |
